Flow Construction was founded on a simple idea - that a building company should be as good at business as it is at building.
How Flow Started
Kyle Whyman and Tim Anderson started Flow Construction because they'd seen firsthand what happens when good builders run poor businesses. Missed calls. Vague timelines. Costs that blow out without explanation. Clients left in the dark.
They built Flow to be the alternative.
Kyle brings over a decade of hands-on construction experience, having completed a full apprenticeship in Rotorua and worked across a wide range of residential projects. He runs every build with the kind of attention to detail that only comes from genuinely caring about the craft.
Tim leads the client side - managing every enquiry, structuring every project, and making sure communication never drops. He's the person you'll deal with from your first conversation right through to handover.
Together, they've built a company where the work is excellent and the experience of getting there is just as good.

Director & Operations
Kyle Whyman
Born and raised in Rotorua, hands-on in construction since age 16. Completed a full apprenticeship and mastered every aspect of the trade before founding Flow Construction.
Director & Sales
Tim Anderson
Raised on a farm in Rerewhakaaitu. Started a building apprenticeship at 16, then co-founded Flow — specialising in high-end new builds and extensions across Rotorua.

Joel's workmanship is top-notch and so is his banter. A sharp eye for detail, a great attitude, and always keeping spirits high on site.
